Eugene Onegin in the Marble Hall at Elveden

Wild Arts Opera visits Elveden for the first time, with Eugene Onegin, Tchaikovsky’s passionate exploration of life, death, love, and pride. Fully-staged and performed in period costume, opera's greatest love story is told in a dazzling new English translation, and directed by former Artistic Director of Shakespeare's Globe, Dominic Dromgoole. You are welcome to arrive from 12pm to set up your picnic lunch on the south lawn, and bring food, drink, rugs, chairs, tables, friends, and candelabras. You will be ushered into the hall for the performance at 3pm, and there'll be 30-minute interval for pudding at 4pm before Act II, which will end at approximately 5.30pm. You are welcome to wear black tie, or please dress however you feel comfortable or is appropriate for the weather on the day.
