Ingrid Thomson has spent over a decade as Archivist at Glamis Castle, working through six centuries of documents, portraits and family history stored within its walls. It is a role that has brought her closer than most to the castle's legends, from the Grey Lady said to haunt the Chapel to Earl Beardie's card game in the sealed Secret Chamber.

Ingrid is the author of Ghosts of Glamis, the castle's own account of its hauntings, and has spent her career separating documented history from centuries of embellished storytelling. But some of what she has witnessed during her years working at the castle defies easy explanation.
