Set above the River Tay, with sweeping views towards the Grampian Mountains, Scone Palace has stood at the heart of Scotland’s history for centuries. Once the seat of Scotland’s high kings, it was here that 42 monarchs, including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce, were crowned upon the Stone of Scone. Today, it remains the family home of the Earls of Mansfield, welcoming visitors to explore its royal legacy, grand state rooms, and magnificent gardens.

For centuries, Scone has been a place of power and celebration, hosting parliaments, coronations, banquets, and royal visits—including that of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1842.
