Day 1
London to Euston Estate
May 26, 2026
The journey begins at Euston Hall, the ancestral seat of
the Duke and Duchess of Grafton in Suffolk. Here,
where the current Duke is a direct male-line
descendant of Charles II of England, you'll discover one
of Britain's most remarkable ducal homes, built
around an earlier house for Lord Arlington in the 1660s.
Day 2
Euston Hall & Elveden Hall
May 27, 2026
Day two begins with a delicious breakfast at Euston, before
emarking on a short journey through the countryside to
your second destination: Elveden Hall, one of England's
most extraordinary architectural secrets. Owned by the
Guinness family, and once lived in by the exiled Maharaja
Duleep Singh, this extraordinary fusion of Indian palace and
English country house tells a remarkable story of empire
and cultural exchange. Your private tour with the current
custodian, Lord Iveagh, will reveal rooms that seem
transported from the courts of the Raj, complete with
intricate Mughal-inspired decorations and a dining room
that hosted Edward VII. Afterwards, guests will return to
Euston for a second evening.
Day 3
Sennowe Park & Houghton Hall
May 28, 2026
Following breakfast the next morning, guests will
journey from Euston Hall to Sennowe Park, where
owners Virginia and Charlie Temple-Richards will host
a tour of their elegant house followed by a country
lunch. The early afternoon will be spent at Houghton
Hall - one of Norfolk's most magnificent Palladian
estates. Built in the 1720s for Britain’s first Prime
Minister, Sir Robert Walpole, Houghton is now the
home of Walpole’s direct descendent, the 7th
Marquess of Cholmondeley, and his family. Upon
arrival, guests will be warmly welcomed for a private
tour of the celebrated Walled Garden - led by the
head gardeners. As the public depart, you will be
granted exclusive access: a private after-hours tour of
the State Rooms, followed by drinks on the West Front
balcony, overlooking the estate’s renowned
contemporary sculpture park.
Day 4
Wolterton Hall & Holkham Hall
May 29, 2026
The journey concludes with a final morning at Wolterton
Park. Once home to Horatio Walpole, the house has been
meticulously revived in recent years. From there, continue
to the north Norfolk coast and the incomparable Holkham
Hall, Thomas Coke’s Palladian masterpiece and one of
England’s most celebrated country houses - set within a
vast landscape of parkland, deer, and sweeping coastal
vistas. Here, enjoy a private lunch followed by a guided
visit, offering insight into the treasures of the Coke family’s
collection, before departing for onward travel.
