Looking for family-friendly activities this February Half Term to keep your little ones busy and entertained? Our heritage houses are offering a variety of exciting events and experiences throughout the UK, from adventure playgrounds to stunning snowdrop displays. Whether you're looking for outdoor fun or a cosy indoor activity, there’s something for everyone at our incredible heritage locations, regardless of where you're based.
1. Holkham Hall, Norfolk: A Winter Wonder for All Ages
Holkham Hall in Norfolk is the perfect place to spend a fun-filled day with the family this February Half Term. Explore the beautiful grounds, enjoy a scenic winter walk (be sure to keep a look out for their snowdrops), or head to the Woodland Play Area. The expansive parkland offers plenty of space for outdoor games, and the on-site cafe is perfect for warming up with hot drinks and snacks afterwards.
Where? Holkham Hall, Norfolk
When? Holkham park is open day, from 9am - 5pm; the Woodland play area is open 10am - 4pm.
What to bring? Warm clothing, comfortable shoes for walking, and maybe even a wetsuit if you're feeling especially brave afterwards!

2. Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire: Adventure Playground Fun
At Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, the adventure playground is calling! The kids can enjoy climbing, sliding, and exploring in this outdoor play area, while parents can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. After all the fun, enjoy a family lunch in one of the palace’s dining areas before exploring the stunning grounds and gardens.
Where? Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire
When? The Palace is open daily between 10.30am - 3.45pm, the Formal Gardens are open daily between 10am - 4pm, The Park is open daily between 9am - 5pm and the Adventure Playground is open on Friday - Sunday, from10.15am - 3.15pm
What to bring? Layers for warmth, and snacks to fuel the adventures!

3. Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire: A Castle Adventure Awaits
At Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire, history and adventure come together. Explore the castle’s impressive deer park and grounds, get lost in the Knight's Maze and Junior Obstacle Course, and enjoy the Adventure Playground and Woodland Paly Area... all whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings of the Malvern Hills. Don't forget to stop by the Woodshed for a warming hot chocolate and snack.

4. Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire: Adventure and Discovery
The whole family will have a great time at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, which is offering fun for all ages this February Half Term. Let the kids explore 16,000 acres of beautiful grounds and let off some steam in the adventure playground; then enjoy some time in the castle's tearoom for a cosy break before heading home.

5. Rockingham Castle, Northamptonshire: Snowdrops and Family Fun
For a peaceful yet memorable day, head to Rockingham Castle in Northamptonshire. The gardens are blooming with snowdrops in February, creating a magical setting for a family stroll. Afterwards, head to the on-site mobile Coffee Unit for a warming drink and to talk about your day of fun and exploration.
