1. Artisan Fayre at Belvoir Castle 

Belvoir Castle is celebrating local craftmanship this weekend, bringing together local artisans from Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire for their artisan fayre. Experience a diverse array of British creativity as you wander through the castle grounds, then head over to the Engine Yard to sample fresh produce from the farm shop or let little ones burn off some energy at the fantastic four-acre adventure playground.

2. Strathmore Highland Games 

Glamis Castle is putting on a fun and quintessentially Scottish day out this Sunday, inviting visitors to come along and watch the Strathmore Highland Games. If you’ve ever fancied spectating some “tossing of the caber,” or perhaps even a spot of Highland dancing, these traditional events will feature in the games alongside many more!    

There’s also a whole host of other fun outdoor activities for families to enjoy, from a bouncy castle and races for younger children to a tasty selection of local food and drink to keep you going throughout the day!

3. Newby Tractor Fest 

Tractor lovers both big and small will have a field day at Newby Hall this weekend, which is transforming into a machine-lovers paradise for the UK’s largest vintage tractor and engine show. With over 1,600 exhibitors on display, as well as a host of entertainment, crafts and food and drinks options, Tractor Fest is a fun day out for all the family, as well as an educational opportunity to learn more about the farming and agricultural industries.

 

Tickets also include access to Newby’s award-winning gardens, adventure playground, dollhouse and teddy bear exhibitions.

4. Boughton House Homes & Gardens Fair

 

The stunning Boughton House in Northamptonshire is opening its doors this Saturday and Sunday for the inaugural homes and gardens fair. Adults can visit a selection of independently run stalls offering inspiration for interior design, gardening and outdoor living, whilst kids can enjoy exploring the fabulous gardens and sampling some of the delicious ice creams!
