Wind in the Willows, Grimsthorpe Castle
Head over to Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire for an enchanting open air theatre performance of the children’s classic, Wind in the Willows. The play is performed on the bank of the river running through the estate, making the magical story come to life.
The show begins at 18:00 and ends at 20:00 with a fifteen minute interval for you to top up drinks and take in the beautiful scenery.
As this is an open air performance, don’t forget to bring a picnic, a blanket, or a low-backed chair, and dress prepared for all weather! The show will go on come rain or shine!

This summer, Blair Castle is holding a family day, with events and activities for children of all ages. Adventurous kids can enjoy the thrilling 25ft jungle explorer bouncy castle and try their hand at laser clay pigeon shooting.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, family yoga classes and foraging walks will be available, offering a chance to connect with nature and unwind together.

The event also features a variety of food, drinks, and craft stalls, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. Summer Foraging, Blair Castle
This August, Blair Castle is holding a very special event. Book your tickets now to embark on a three hour foraging walk with expect forager and writer, Tamara Colchester.
During this journey, you will be introduced to edible and medicinal flora. Tamara will talk you through 15 species of trees, flowers and plants, delving into the etymology of their names and the folklore surrounding them.
Learn how to identify and safely prepare these natural treasures, transforming them into nourishing foods and remedies.
Children under 16 go for half price. This event is the perfect way to get your children away from screens, into the summer sun and introduce them to the power of nature.
