1.Summer Artisan Fair, Gwrych Castle
Gwrych Castle in Wales is inviting you for a fabulous day of family fun this Sunday with their Summer Artisan Fair. Come along to enjoy a delicious range of artisan food and drink alongside live music and an incredible live performance from vertical dance troop VDKL. A guaranteed day of outdoor entertainment for all the family!

2. Duck Herding, Eastnor Castle
Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire is putting on a “quacking” display this Sunday, giving visitors the chance to watch a spot of duck herding! This fun, outdoor event will put a smile on the faces of animal lovers big and small whilst hopefully avoiding ruffling any feathers in the process!

3. Beekeeping Workshop, Carlton Towers
Apiary enthusiasts should make a “beeline” for Carlton Towers in Yorkshire this Saturday to take part in their fantastic Beekeeping Experience Workshop. Experienced apiarist Cristina from MI Honey will lead the workshop, taking visitors through the wonderful world of beekeeping and giving a tour of the beehives at the Carlton estate. A fascinating, educational day out that’s sure to get little minds “buzzing” with excitement!

4. David Austin Roses, Belvoir Castle
A rose by any other name may not smell as sweet as the glorious David Austin
Roses in Belvoir’s famous Rose Garden! Come along to Belvoir Castle in
Leicestershire this Saturday and Sunday for a day of horticultural enrichment, where
the specialist gardening team will talk you through the care of these famous roses as
well as giving you a few gardening tips of your own. An enchanting, educational day

5. Torchlight Tour, Gwrych Castle
Things are about to go bump in the night at Gwrych Castle this Friday for those that

As much as we love a good family day out, sometimes we all need some adult-only
time to unwind too! Our HeritageX homes have a couple of fantastic adult-only
activities this weekend which are perfect for parents, singles and couples looking to
enjoy a bit of “me” time.
Theatre, Dining and Luxury Stay Experience, Knowsley Hall
Back by popular demand, Knowsley Hall in Merseyside is returning this Friday for
another night of their exclusive theatre and luxury stay experience! Guests can enjoy
a walk around Knowsley’s beautiful grounds, followed by a delicious two course pre-
theatre dinner before private transportation will whisk them off to the Shakespeare
North Playhouse to watch a stellar performance of Twelfth Night starring Les Dennis.
Following the play, guests will return to a tasty array of nibbles and a luxurious stay
in one of Knowsley’s elegant bedrooms and will wake up to a full spread of cooked

Essex Book Festival, Layer Marney Tower
The world-renowned Essex Book Festival returns this summer and will be putting on
an incredible day packed full of literature at Layer Marney Tower this Sunday. The

Paranque who will discuss women’s role in the workplace and do a deep dive into
the life of Anne Boleyn, followed by a journey through British history with Simon
