1. Fairy Day, Rockingham Castle


Experience a touch of magic at Rockingham Castle in Northamptonshire this Sunday and spend a day in the Wild Garden with Rockingham’s woodland fairies! Wander along the Toadstool Trail and see if you can spot the secret Fairy Doors, or even some of the fairies themselves who are waiting to welcome you on an enchanting adventure!


Please note, fancy dress is both welcome and encouraged!

2. The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle, Newby Hall


Join the famous doctor on a thrilling, animal-packed adventure during this lively, outdoor theatre show at Newby Hall in Yorkshire. The performance this Friday will take you on a journey alongside the beloved animal-whisperer, travelling to far-flung lands with creatures great and small!

3. Kite and Lantern Making, Eastnor Castle


Prepare to get crafty at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire this Sunday where an expert from Spare Room Arts will be teaching you how to make kites and cardboard lanterns. No experience is required, just a positive attitude and a desire to unleash your inner artist! 

 

A wonderful, hands-on activity, perfect for channelling your creative spirit!

4. Young Sculptor Exhibition, Doddington Hall & Gardens


Doddington Hall in Lincolnshire is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural Young Sculptor Award which puts together an exhibition of the UK’s most talented young sculptors. The exhibition, which launches this Wednesday, will feature pieces by the UK’s pre-eminent young sculptors and will be on display until the 3rd of September in Doddington’s historic Kitchen Gardens.

An excellent choice for families with artistic children looking for an inspiring day out in Doddington’s glorious grounds.
